Ok i was in melbourne over the weekend and i was able to see Tristram Williams (dedalus78), who is associate principal trumpet of the MSO and like geoffrey paynes protege, play this piece called jet stream by Peter Eötvös. I had never heard of this piece but was told by tristram that it was one of the hardest things around, but wow it was like amazing. His playin was just like awesome, i heard him on the radio playin the shostavovich a while ago but yeh it was awesome to hear him live.It was a reeli cool piece, cos i dont normally like those crazy pieces written for Hĺkan Hardenberger and the like but this one a reeli cool piece.
