I just tried an 8340EM at Rayburn's in Boston and it is the best Yamaha I've ever played. Very smooth, even sound. I crescendoed from ppp to fff and the sound was consistent throughout. The sound is distinct and, to my ears, has more character than I hear in most Yamahas. Unfortunately its 3 grande... :(
