Depends what you are into. There are alot of interesting concerts going on in Melbourne; at the moment the MSO is doing the Metropolis Festival, all works from the past ten years or so. The concert on Monday night conducted by Brett Dean might be worth hearing.
After that the orchestra is back to its regular season- come and here the works of the great masters! Beethoven 4 in the last week of May (glorious piece)...the Copland/Barber concert in June looks interesting.... Britten, Mahler 6 and Alpine Symphony in July...
And of course, you should listen to the radio tomorrow night.
