| One night, not too long ago, a work crew was returning from a new construction project out in the wilderness when they came upon a tree that was laying across the dirt road that led back to civilization. It was dusk and the cold air of the approaching night was filled with the sounds of birds and animals seeking shelter for the evening. As the men got out of the vehicle to remove the tree, a crunching sound of something huge in the forest silenced the sounds of the woods and all was eerily silent. Suddenly, from the treeline the outline of several large sub human forms began hurling rocks the size of bowling balls at the truck. One rock crushed the windshield while another impacted the roof and bounded off into the forest. The men piled in the truck and headed for what they thought would be the safety of the construction trailer. Racing down the rutted gravel and dirt road they could hear the pounding of large rocks behing them and could make out many of the gigantic creatures running behind them. When the arrived back at camp the men fled the truck and locked themselves in the trailer. For most of the night they could sense the creatures stalking them, waiting for an opportunity to attack. Throughout the night the men huddled in the trailer and listened as the creatures slowly approached and then, for some reason, backed away. The next morning the early shift arrived to find the trailer on it's side with the frightened men huddled in a metal storage container that saved their lives. Huge footprints and a foul odor in the air served as evidence of the stealthy attackers presence. Where will they strike next?
