| Thank You All Your supportive posts are much appreciated and while the future is not clear let alone certain I am putting my plans to sell my horn on hold due in large part to your responses. I've even pulled out the mouthpiece and been buzzing it in my spare time. Soon I'll stick it into the horn and se what happens. You see I hot hit with a touch of Bell's Palsy a month ago and for those that aren't familiar with Bell's that's where one side of your facial muscles stop working. A trumpet player's nightmare to be sure but scary to anyone. At first you wonder if it's a mild stoke until you see a doctor. Then you just have to wait for it to get better. Well its gotten better but I still can't get above the staff. Hittin that E is like double high C used to be and I'm sittin here chuckling about it. But it'll come back and I'm gonna be patient. I'm grateful for all the other wonderful posts on here that show the joy in being a trumpet player. Thanks again and I'll keep in touch.
