Texas also has several "microbreweries," i.e., businesses that produce less than 75,000 barrels a year. In 1995, they included Frio Brewing and Yellow Rose Brewing in San Antonio, Saint Arnold Brewing Company in Houston, and the Texas Brewing Company in Dallas. The Dallas plant operated on the site of the historic Dallas Brewing Company (1890).
