Hmmm...I always enjoyed playing second myself. But I never got past playing in Lynn Oliver's band in NYC. We used to do gigs in restaurants and such. A lot of ggreat players worked with him, and many of the great bands of the fifties and sixties used his studio for rehearsals, which is how he got a lot of his charts.
But I digress.....
All time section: Snooky, Clark, Ernie Royal, Don Fagerquist, Faddis

Current NYC Section: Tony K, Scott Wendholt, Jimmy Owens, Greg Gisbert

Or......Marvin Stamm, Lew Soloff, Laurie Frink, Randy Brecker

Or......Tony Garruso, Todd Schwartz, Justin Mullins, Ron Horton

or.....Well, you get the idea.
