Hello everyone. I live on the other side of the world here in New Zealand. I've turned 18 this year and I'm only 5 years old in trumpet playing age. My school has a music programme where anyone can afford to learn an instrument (or singing) at an affordable price. I only chose trumpet because the first instrument to be introduced was a trumpet! (introduced by a trumpet player, of course). As I now think of it, I had made a really good choice back then. I had been playing piano before I picked up trumpet but I was sick of it because I hated practising. My trumpet teacher changed all that - he really made me love music and practice! So I met the right teacher. |
