Well, after a long while resisting the urge, I finally took the stand at a jam session in my local last night (The Waggon, Southgate, London).
Now is the Time was the tune!
I was less scared playing in the Royal Albert Hall, however, musical performance is about convincing the audience that you are in control, and you know what you are doing.... so I think I managed to do that (while being out of control, and not knowing what I was doing!! ha!
)
My mates kindly said that I sounded good!!
Despite being personally disappointed with my efforts, I've not been discouraged so
bring on the next session I say!!
Any suggestions for a tune to work on would be greatly appreciated!
