| That is pretty much my idea on that piece as well. He was a blind organist and the piece goes from predictable patterns to very random clusters, back and forth. It is noted in the score that it is for trumpet, flute, or oboe, so I am curious if some of the more extreme upper register passages could be taken down into the more usable range of the horn?
