Trent,
Nice suggestion! I have been listening to the Bach Cello Suites in my car for quite some time now. I have a set of disks by Anner Bylsma. Wow! What a treat to hear his interpretation of these. I think I'll get a copy of the David Cooper book (there’s another book by Michael Ewald that has one “dance” from the Cello Suites that I really enjoyed working up).
Brad,
If you search out the David Cooper book, I can highly recommend the Bartok 44 Violin Duets, also arranged by David Cooper. I heard some of these at the ITG New Works concert in Denver in 2004. With very limited funds, this was one of the two things that I purchased while I was there.
