| Leblanc Conrad Gozzo Model 770 This morning I did a rehearsal with a gentleman who was was one of the premier lead players in NYC a couple of decades ago. He was telling me that he used a Leblanc Conrad Gozzo model 770 most of his recording career(until it got damaged in a freak accident). According to him that was the horn of choice for many players back then. First time I've ever heard of that model.
Just wondering if any of you have had any experiences with that horn. In my experience, in NYC, Leblanc has always seemed to make great trumpets, yet they always seem hard to find and not that many players use them despite very good quality. |
