Just wanted to let you know that I'm printing this out & sending to Doc. I know he will be very touched.
I don't travel with him anymore but you can bet I'm going to fly out to see a few of his shows this coming season. It was one thing to quit the road but know that I could hop on a plane & travel to hear one of his shows. It's another thing when there simply won't be those shows to attend. :(
Manny - I heard Doc's name from the TV the other day while I was in the another room. My mouth went dry & my head started to spin. I thought something terrible had happened. Turns out I was listening to an ad for Dean Martin roast videos.
He and Emily are still planning on moving to Mexico but nothing has yet been settled as far as the move date.
