Doc,

You are the reason I have played the trumpet for the past forty years. I heard you in Roanoke, Virginia in the early 70's and have been on fire for the trumpet ever since. Over the years I have been blessed to hear you play in concert seven times. My students ask me, "who is your favorite trumpet player" or "who is the most versatile trumpet player of all time"?

My Answer: THE DOCTOR
