I've given up on my Schilke. I've taken it to several repairmen over the last few years to get the valves working nice, but with little success. The fourth valve is fit so tight that, unless I give it a serious cleaning every week, it gunks up and is completely immovable. I can't claim to take perfect care of my horns, but I clean them regularly and generally keep up on maintenance.

The instrument needs some serious work, and I'm wondering where would the best place to send it would be. Does the Schilke factory do repair work? I know Ken Larson is doing some great work, but I think he's concentrating on his own instruments. Any recommendations would really be appreciated.
