Hello, Tom...
Just discovered your site...
Good on 'ya...
Me?
Went from tpt to cornet...
Played trad....Queen City Jazz Band...Denver...
Had Boston Ne Plus Ultra...
Then...L. bore French Besson...
Back to New Orleans it was back to tpt again...
LeBlanc Conrad Gozzo model...
Hurricane Katrina brought me back to Denver...
Have some questions...
Selling an English Besson...
Has "RMB" and an insignia stamped on bell...
Both put on AFTER manufacture...
Years of wondering, I came up with a possible answer...
"RMB" stands for "Royal Military Band"...
The insignia represents the regiment or the specific band...
Whatd'ya think?...
Have a friend who wants to buy it...
But I don't know what it's worth...
Any ideas?...
Also...
For 40 years been playing my LeBlanc Conrad Gozzo trumpet...
Years delaying an overhaul...
I'm looking for another Gozzo trumpet...
Wrote to a guy in the forum who has one...
Waiting for reply...
Any ideas on where else I should try for a Gozzo?...
Appreciate any help, man...
And congrats on the site...
