I have recently tested all of these models. I think it is safe to say that they are all very fine horns, and all play very similarly. You will not notice much difference in the sound, if any. That said, each horn I played had minor differences. I played on a couple different silver finish horns, a couple shot blast silver horns and one lacquer shot blast finish horn. I really did not care for the look of the lacquer shot blast at all. It is not a rough finish like the silver shot blast. Of the horns I tried, however, I thought that it was the best playing horn, but these are minor differences. The valves were a little better than the other horns. I think you should decide what look you want, and then try to test several of that model, and choose the best of them. The reversed leadpipe trumpet, regardless of finish is a very nice horn. In the end, it did not have quite the sound I was after, and I ordered an Eclipse LR.
