Trumpet T,

There is not many Maurice Andre he is just one...probably trumpetmike wanted to say that he is the only one:::)))) Should we add few orchestral players who make wonderful job when they go solo? Mainly I agree with rowuk...There is no replacement for live music and live experiences with good musicians. I don't know where you are studying but surely you will find at least one. Anywa, you can add to your list

Rod Franks, London Symphony Orchestra
Maurice Murphy, London Symphony Orchestra (retired, as far as I know)
James Watson, Royal Academy of Music
Phil Smith, New york Philharmonic
David Guerrier
Eric Aubier
Bernard Soustrot

And look around for masterclasses with all trumpeters named in this topic by an of us...or do as I did...get on place whenever this is possible and get private lessons with these guys
