Pagetown will become famous soon enough
Just another vote for the plexiglass disk. I used one for years in bands in NY and it will save your chops. It almost doesn't matter how loud the stage volume gets, you always have consistent feedback on your sound and volume. It definitely stops you from overblowing because you can't hear yourself over a loud band. Sound guys that want all the band's sound to go through the PA tend to like these too because it keeps your acoustic sound going through the mic rather than traveling off the stage independant of the PA. I definitely recommend one!
