Thanx y'all, my trusted friend is seeing the doctor after 40 years, a flute player (y'all know how they are
) knocked the horn off the top of the bunk in her room (daughters....some of y'all know how they are) a few years back, so my trumpet is getting a much needed once over. A couple of dents, lookee see on the valves, new seals on the slop shutes. Soooo, in the mean time, my other trusted friend, the coronet that started this mess back in fifth grade, has been getting all the work. Hadn't really played the horn in about 35 years.....WOW, found out it sounds pretty sweet when ya fill up the horn :)
Been enjoying the site the last couple of days, gots LOTS of stuff to catch back up on, looking forward to my journey back into the circle...chuck
