| Here's an interesting story (at least to me) about the Stage 1 horn I have. I bought this horn from Felix back in January of this year and love the horn. Interestingly, I started doing some brass quintet gigs with a local group not long ago (2nd trumpet). After a few rehearsals the leader who plays 1st trumpet points at my horn and says he's concerned about the blend we're getting together. I thought it was kind of silly because this horn is very versitle and will allow the player to color the sound most any way you want. Dark, bright, smokey, whatever you want it can do. I felt the blend was very good, by the way. So, just to keep my new brass family happy I bought Dylan Schwab's (also a Stage 1 player) old Mt. Vernon Bach horn just to play with this brass group. The funny thing is, I have a Stage 1 that out plays this guy's Bach and now I've got a Bach that outplays his Bach.
