I have not heard most of the players that have been listed live in concert. I do know the greats that I have heard live, the recordings generally do not do their sound justice.

On the Monette website there are some clips of Manny Laureano playing. He of course sounds spectacular, but those clips don't compare to having him shake your inner self with the gorgeous sound of his.

I don't know where you live, but if you have the chance, go listen to as much live music (performed by competent musicians) as you can.
