| Yes, I contacted eBay about suspicious e-mails about a year ago and received the same info page. What it boils down to is to always check for messages/offers in My eBay. If they aren't there, they aren't real. I constantly receive eMail "messages" from bogus eBay members, bogus eBay account problems, and bogus Paypal account problems. None of them ever show up on the real sites. Another way to spot them is to move your cursor over the "reply to" link provided and see where the reply is really going. The link may say eBay, but when you put your cursor on it, it will say something else most of the time. |
