| October 29 Solo Performance
On October 29, I'll be appearing as a featured soloist at the College of Lake County in a Maynard Ferguson tribute concert. This performace was originally scheduled for Maynard himself, but, alas, he passed away a month and a half ago. Rather than cancell the performance, which was to feature Maynard and the CLC big band, they hired several alumni, including Tom Garling, on trombone, and Mark Colby, to come out and pay tribute as guest artists.
The concert begins ar 4:00 PM. Tickets will be available at the box office. The college of Lake County is located in Grayslake, Illinois, about 40 minutes northwest of Chicago.
I'll also have copies of my CD available for sale at the box office.
I will also be representing the New York Trumpet Company as an endorising artist and dealer and the Eclipse Flugel Horn Company.
