Your horn looks to be in great shape and really looks like a NEW addition. It's like a collector's item. Oh no, let's not get into collector item and vintage differences. Concerning your horn, I would find it interesting to know what the valve compression is like and if there is any undo ware on the valves and valve casing. The horn looks almost perfect on the outside. Could you post a picture of the valves? I don't know if you are a pro but it would be interesting to know how the horn plays to a pro and what it's strengths and limitations are if any. During the 60's were not Holton horns considered student horns? Does anybody have some history knowledge on this? I think that this was way before MF started advertising them. Thanks, Liad |
