| I used to think the problem with illegal drugs was not aggressive enough enforcement, but I've come to see the bigger picture.
The problem is not the drug or the law enforcement, but that the drugs are illegal, which supports a huge, mob-like syndicate to produce, traffic, sell, and protect illegal drugs and the profit made from them. The same happened during the prohibition.
The solution, IMO, is that all drugs should be legal and distributed through federally liscensed, privately owned vendors. The dangerous drugs that have been mentioned should be available only with a prescription. Everything else should be OTC purchaseable by adults from a liscensed vendor.
