| I really don't have many pictures of myself. I played a Brandenburg concerto last year and one of the violinist took a picture at the rehearsal. I thought it was pretty representative.
I am playing a 3-valved piccolo trumpet of my own design. It is straight. The bell is made of red brass. As it is not coiled with bell braces, it speaks very easily and can be played very softly. It is not suitable when you want to blow away a symphonic wind band however! The rotary valves were built by Lätzsch in Bremen, Germany. They are called "full flow". The insides are made out of carbon fiber - impervious to hot and cold and nothing sticks to it(very easy to keep clean). They have ball bearings on the top and bottom and are the fastest valves that I have ever played. The mouthpipe is my own design. I use a Monette AP5/BP5 mouthpiece with it
I am really into the construction of brass instruments and just wanted to show my toy!
