Howdy all, I recently purchased a Sound Blaster bus sound card for my laptop to improve the audio and for recording purposes. I use a Sony ECM-MS957 microphone with Adobe Audition, and now I get this wicked hiss in all of my recordings. I use this for my practice sessions, but it really bugs me because I've never had the hiss before, and it kind of defeats the whole purpose of buying the sound card, so, any ideas what it could be or a possible remedy?? Any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
