Hi this is Valerio, trumpet player from Roma, Italia

I started playing in 1988 after attending a Miles Davis concert in my hometown. I was 24, gave up my law studies and devoted myself to music and trumpet playing.

I had a bad period when a dentist operation damaged a nerve and a dobermann decided to wound my upper lip...nothing which could change my face and prevent me from playing, anyway.

I am now mostly playing big bands, learning to improvise and sometimes I play r&b or classical music.

Last july Marvin Stamm was in Roma for three days and I studied with him...what a great gentleman and musician!!
