| all the info I have seen is that frys, best buy, walmart, etc are not going to sell just the base units. they are only selling in bundles with 5-8 games which pushes the base prices to around 1000-1400. same gig going for the Wii.
this stinks but will stop those just getting units to throw on ebay.
