Thanks for mentioning Anita......
Being a life long fan of Roy Eldridge and Anita. About ten years ago so she was at a friends home and joined into a the old AOL trumpet Jazz board where Roy was the subject.
Months she sent me an E mail at my old studio at Boeing from that same friends home...saying she was going"UPTOWN" into a hospital for tests.
Roy and Anita, together were always so entertaining and fun.
They both will be missed....
My condolences to her family, friends, and many fans thoughout the world.
