| I think the first thing you should do is define what it is your trying to accomplish.
I had a 20 year layoff the horn. When I decided I wanted to comeback to it I got on Ebay and bought a student model Bundy Trumpet for $110.00
After playing that for a year and getting myself back in shape I re-evaluated where I was at and decided that I wanted better horns because I was going to continue playing.
I then bought my King Silverflair 1964 Vintage, My Getzen Capri Cornet, and my Bach Strad 229 25A C Trumpet.
So my advice is for you to decide what you want and then pursue it.
As far as brands go Solar Bell (Chuck) covered that well!
