| Equipment/ trumpet issues
Hey tony,
I have been trying to play on the shew yamaha stuff (lead+jazz). I love the jazz, I like my sound and it's a very comfortable piece. At first I couldn't play on the shew lead at all, than for a few days my high chops were the best the have ever been on the lead (sound wise)! My sound was huge compared to normal! However, now I am having some issues playing that shallow piece. I was wondering if you have any tips for getting used to a piece like that as well as how long you suggest trying before giving up? I like the feel, just not the bottoming out or double buzz effect! Thanks |
