The man is phenomenal !
His father and younger brother Jason with a bassist were in Pittsburgh,Pa last Thursday through Sunday giving us a "A Celebration of New Orleans Music."
The old man played a few Herbie Hancock compositions including Dolphin Dance before giving us some "Holiday Soul" akin to Bobby Timmons in 1965 with Butch Warren, bass and Walter Perkins, drums.
The Re-Birth Brass band was the last act and they featured a trumpeter that made Johnny Coles look tall.
