Happy birthday to Clark Terry. I hope that I can still hold my horn at 86. If I even make it to 86!!! I had the pleasure of playing behind Mr. Terry at New Jersey City University in New Jersey on his 75th birthday while I was a Graduate student. Not only did he play great, but he was great to all the students in the band. He even took the time to sit and talk to my then 10 year old daughter. Here's to another 86 years!!
