After years of subtle and not so subtle hints from her students, Jeanne Pocius has finally written a book about trumpet playing. Plans are to have it on sale by Martin Luther King Day but I have seen it and its good. There is information there I have seen nowhere else ( and I have read a lot of chop books) presented from a view point I have not seen before. For those of you who have been following Jeanne's posts on TPIN, you must be aware of how much knoledge and experience Jeanne has about playing and teaching the trumpet. Its all in hard copy now and you won't need to scroll through the TPIN archives looking for it. I believe it will be called "Trumpet by Nature"
