Here goes nothing: I'm going to give the full time pro some advise.
For a long time I did just what Manny is doing. In one of my lessons I was struggling a little with tuning so my teacher told me to try his BP5. What a huge difference.

Manny, the mouthpiece you are using is counter productive. I am a huge believer in the piccolo mouthpieces and in the different size for different keys. I think Shilke picc. trumpets use a cornet mouthpiece. The same idea as Monette.

It's hard for me to tell a pro about playing but, you can get the sizes you use in the picc. mouthpiece and the trumpet will play way better.

By the way, my experience with the mouthpiece change was on my Selmer.

Manny, If I can give you advise that will help your playing it will be the thrill of my life!!!
