When you go to the Accent website
http://www.accent.cc/profindex.htm you'll see that they are offering:
Flutes
Trumpets
French Horns
Clarinets
Trombones
Tubas
Euphoniums.
They are most likely "branded" imports... probably from somewhere in mainland Asia. It is very rare that you'd find both woodwinds and brass (high and low brass) from the same maker and this is a strong indicator that they are made by different companies or factories and stamped with a name.
That "lovely sound" is typical of flugelhorns and the proper mouthpiece. If you just want to "see how you get along" with a flugel for a short while you may be onto something but I'd be thinking that you would be better off with one of the mainstream brands that is actually made by craftsmen and sold by people who care rather than "dumped on the market" as fast as they can pull them out of a shipping container somewhere on the West Coast! Your resale value certainly won't be very high and I'd recommend you try to find a good, used instrument with a recognized brand name.
