There has always for some reason been a link between pop music and jazz.
Billy Joel with Phil Woods and Freddie Hubbard. The Isley Brothers used Lammar Wright and Dud Bascombe on "Twist and Shout." Johnny Coles is one of the players on that dance classic......."The Horse"
