One of my student's mom bought him a new one and it wasn't bad at first , then ...
#1 the felts came off of the valves

#2 the "corks" came out of the water keys

#3 the valves became sluggish ( no matter how much you oiled them)

#4 the pinky hook just came off one day while he was playing it in band.

He went back to playing his used Bundy model.

Actually the best thing about the whole deal was the case which is probably
better quality than the trumpet.
This has been the my only experience with a Simba trumpet.
