| Pat Harbison to visit Minnesota
Our very own Pat Harbison will be the judge and guest artist for the Northlands Trumpet Competition on March 3 in Bemidji, MN. High school aged competitors must choose one of the following pieces to perform:
Balay - Petite Piece Concertante
Balay - Andante et Allegro
Barat - Andante et Scherzo
Ropartz - Andante et Allegro
1st prize - $300 cash or $1000 scholarship
2nd prize - $100 cash
3rd prize - $50 cash
PH will perform the evening of March 3 with a high powered jazz quartet made up of great players from around the U.S. He will also give a clinic at 2PM that day. Feel free to contact me for more information on the competition or the concert. |
