Alborado Del Gracioso

Manny,

After talking to you on Monday about single tonguing in person, it has really helped me today. I forgot to tell you that we are playing Alborado in orchestra and I'm playing principal. As you know, there is some extremely fast triple tonguing involved in this piece and when I start playing it slowly it's fine, but as I speed it up closer to my maximum speed, I have a hard time keeping it light while getting to much tongue interupting my air stream. Now that you know how I play, would you be be so kind to shed some light on this excerpt. I need the speed and lightness but without tightening up and it's tough. Thanks so much!

Jeremy
