I would recommend that prior to your trip you read the info available "here"... http://www.dallasmusic.org/gearhead/ . It's good stuff.

Bottom line is... don't get hung up on the name; get hung up on the playing qualities and sound. The audience can't tell the difference in name but they can detect a cruddy sound, poor intonation, etc.
