Learning that piece completely on the Bb is one of those rites of passage that every serious trumpeter should go through before you even know what an Eb trumpet is. Learning to negotiate those trills is a "hardening' experience that boosts your technique.

Hehe that's pretty much the situation I'm in - I don't think I'll feasibly be able to get an Eb trumpet for another 5 years :s
Guess I'd better try and master it on the Bb...
