I am a comeback player and just past my first year. I stopped playing trumpet in college 45 years ago. I was a music major and my main instrument was piano. I stopped playing trumpet to concentrate on my piano studies. Like many of you, I wish that never had happened. I take private lesson and that has been a great help to me. I try to practice two to three hours a day. I am also in two town band, Ballston Spa and Glenville, NY which is in Upstate NY near Albany - Schenectady. I have a Brass Sound Creation (BSC) trumpet which I bought from Felix at the NY Trumpet Co. and I love it. They are hand made in Belgium and have great workmanship and a great sound. I also have a Jupiter Flugelhorn.
