I have a Yamaha YFH731 flugelhorn in silver that was bought for me new in 1985. I love this horn and how it plays. However, the silver is just beginning to pit in a few areas.

I would like to have the horn overhauled and replated in gold - possibly with scratched or bead blast. I also need a 3rd valve slide trigger added. I remember seeing some very cool triggers for this horn that were made out of wood.

Any ideas where I can find the trigger and any recommendations to perform the overhaul?
