Nick,

I use Jim Thompson's Buzzing Basics and the new Jimmy Stamp book (both published by BIM and include CD accompaniments, the latter by Tom Stevens) in my studios but am unaware of the two books that you mention.

I received notice over the weekend that Rob McGregor (Balquidder Music) has just published Bel Canto Studies by John Korak and I perhaps I'll say something about it here after my copy arrives. It apparently includes a Smartmusic file that plays accompaniments for those who have that program installed.
