When it comes to music,LENNY has always been a hard task master.
Say what you want,he got the best out of Jose.

Had Charles Mingus stood in for Lenny,the Emergency Medical Team (EMT) would have had to painstakingly remove Mr.Mingus' bass from Jose's head and neck.
Charles "Don't call me Charlie" Mingus damn sure took his music seriously !
Here's a question for you jazz improvisors...when lost in a solo,who in the rhythm section do you turn to for help in bailing you out - the bassist or the drummer ?
I've omitted pianist as the drummer is their savior !
