You pay up front and he sends you the horn.
After the trial period yiu can keep the horn, send it back for tweaking and plating or send it back and say "No thanks".
If you do not want the horn, he will refund your money, minus shipping charges.
I owned a C7 in satin gold plate.
It was a very good horn and the equal or better than any trumpet I had played up to that time.
The C7 replaced, and was in my opinion a better horn than my Schilke B6.
I also used the horn as a lead horn in a big band and playing in churches with my wife.
