I first saw trumpet "tabs" when I was searching for some ska sheet music a few years ago. I stumbled across horntabs.net. The tabs are basically just note names. They'll say C# or C+ if a note is sharp and Bb or B- if a note is flat. Sometimes they give you the octave that the note is to be played by providing a number next to the letter. There really isn't a consistent way of doing it though, and of course there is no way of showing rhythm, so you have to be familiar with the song prior to reading the tab.
